    Exploring Pollination Through Creativity

    Students will explore the world of flowers and pollination through creative stories. They will work in groups to research types of pollinators and flowers using provided media.

    Gray For A Day

    Gray for a Day utilizes an empathic model to educate participants on the age-related sensory and functional challenges that older adults might face. Participants will get to "gear up" to discover what it is like to live with age-related conditions.

    Butterfly

    Life Cycle Miracle (Butterfly Larvae)

    Students will be able to watch Painted Lady caterpillars grow, form chrysalides and hatch into butterflies. Learn about the anatomy, life cycle and the role of the butterfly in its environment.

     PlantExploration

    Plant Exploration

    Students will review the parts of the plant and the role they play in the survival of the plant through a hands-on small group activity.

     
    WheatScience

    Wheat Science

    Students can explore the importance of Kansas wheat, principles of baking, yeast development, and good nutrition.

    Magnetism 

    Magnetism

    As students complete the activities they will discover what objects magnets attract, learn about magnetic poles, see the effect of magnetic fields and learn about electromagnetism.
